humanity ordinarily experiences creation through an interface. we observe the world, experience time, and perceive events, but the deeper processes sustaining reality remain hidden.
we see the output of creation without direct access to its underlying architecture.
prophets are temporarily granted access to the logs of creation. they do not view the entirety of the divine architecture, but receive insight into particular processes: where justice has failed, where covenant has been neglected, and where humanity has moved out of alignment.
prophetic speech is therefore not prediction alone. it is the communication of what has been perceived.
because creation is sustained through divine speech, language itself possesses creative potential. however, syntax alone is insufficient.
the command "יהי אור" created light because it was spoken by the creator of the architecture itself. repeating the words does not reproduce the authority behind them.
prophets are not granted access to creation's architecture in order to gain power over it. they are entrusted with responsibility within it.
the prophet is not a controller of reality, but a diagnostician. they perceive where the system has become unstable: where justice has failed, where covenant has been neglected, and where creation has moved towards disorder.
prophetic revelation is therefore not a privilege without burden. those who receive insight into the hidden processes of creation are given a task: to communicate what they have perceived and to call humanity back towards alignment.
the prophet does not speak because they possess greater authority over creation. they speak because they have been authorised to carry a message.
